The blessing of goodness that we already have

How to be successful happy? 100 ideas for a healthy mind

Part six: The blessing of goodness that we already have

In life, it usually happens that we want what we do not have. Often, we are also agonizing with problems that are not at all important, or worst of all – they are not there yet, and we are worried about the future. It gives us as a result of many sadnesses and disappointments and takes away the will to live. It also causes stress and we are not grateful for what we have, namely work, shelter, loving family, friends and many, many more – it could be mentioned that way without end. To avoid such a situation, we should think more positively, start to appreciate what we have, not to look for problems and complain that we do not have anything. A change in attitude affects every person and makes his life better. Every morning, let’s think about what we really do not miss since we wake up in a warm home, we are not hungry and alone. Certainly, most people will then find that there is nothing missing in their lives, and they themselves look for unnecessary shortcomings. What is the recipe for it? Every morning, 10 things should be mentioned, for which we are grateful. The result will be a better frame of mind that will accompany us throughout the day and even longer. We do not aspire to possessing goods because intangible wealth, namely love, health or friendship is invaluable and nothing can be replaced.

It is believed that the ability to see positive aspects in every possible situation is one of the measures of mental health of a human being. People who have the ability to see the good sides of other people and notice the positive sides of the events are more cheerful, more liked by the general public and less ill. This is a perfect example of how to consciously improve your skills and learn to think positively in every situation.

Positive thinking is based on a conscious focus on the positive, and more specifically on positive people, events and situations. Going into details, one can say that positive thinking is based on human strengths. Do not emphasize weaknesses, but good sides. One must also be able to notice in people, but also in themselves, talents and positive qualities. Positive thinking means noticing and developing your positive sides, abilities, and interests.

Positive thinking is also the perception of the positive aspects of the events. In any situation, you can even force yourself to notice something positive, even if the only positive thing that comes to mind is the lesson that we get into the so-called. “School of life”.

In the mind we have a tendency to automatically realize the images it sees. If we want to achieve the set goal, we must cultivate thoughts through the desired image (e.g. I am a happy wife), not the image of what we do not want (e.g. I am an unhappy wife).

In this particular case, positive thinking boils down to the discipline of imagining what we want and what we aspire to, not what we are afraid of and we do not want it to happen at all.

Positive thinking is the necessary ability to respond to change by asking yourself questions about how to use the new (seemingly heavier) situation so that it would work in your favor.

In order for it to have an effect, it is first and foremost realistic to define your goals. A person who thinks positively is a person grateful for what he has. Realistically set your goals and create a work plan that you will implement to make it happen as you want. This should be supported for taking action. This is not just more thinking, because it is very easy for us to become prisoners. This is very deceptive and limiting, so you have to be sensible and attentive.

According to the known Buddhist tradition, we can look for human suffering in several situations: when we do not get what we want, when we lose something that was important to us when we get what we do not want and when we get attached to something that does not serve us. Contemporary theory of stress draws attention to identical phenomena, describes them only in a slightly different language. Situations that cause stress include deprivation, loss, and obstacles, in which we develop adaptive and maladaptive methods of coping with stress.

There are several methods that will help to relieve unnecessary tension and lead to success, namely: stop, ground yourself, contact your feelings, look around and set a distance.

Big Guru’s teaches you to exchange a few things in the morning, for which we want to thank the universe. They may be small things, for example, for waking up, for being healthy, for singing birds, for beautiful weather or for the sunshine. Make your own list of 10 things, it can be different every day and thank for all the gifts of life.
